Back in Business...FRC Returns to ‘Normalcy’

The San Juan Ridge Family Resource Center wishes to thank our community for its patience throughout the month of July when hours were cut short during three weeks of Summer Sports Camp. Although our change of schedule helped provide a rich experience for our community’s young athletes, many of our visitors were disappointed when they were unable to access regular services during what had been regarded as our normal business hours.

Over the past month, our Family Resource Center has had to adapt to the loss of one employee and less paid hours for our remaining staff. Nonetheless, our goal is to continue to provide all the services we were able to provide before the cutbacks. The major change is that we will be closed every Friday. Because Friday has consistently been the slowest day of the week, we are hoping that being closed on Fridays will have the least impact on our community.

From time to time we may also have to close for staff development, meetings, illness or other emergencies. When possible, we will leave a message on our answering machine and/or a sign on our door. When we can predict closures, as in the case of regularly scheduled meetings or work days, we will include the information in this newsletter, as well. We are thanking you in advance for your continued patience.

Here are San Juan Ridge Family Resource Center’s normally scheduled hours for August:

Monday:       9am-5pm

Tuesday:      Children’s Play Group only 10am-noon

                       Noon-5pm for all other services

Wednesday: 9am-5pm

Thursday:    9am-5pm

Friday:         CLOSED
