Being one who generally views the use of hyperbole with great disdain, I must admit that this time it is warranted. 2017’s  SPORTS & ART CAMPS really were the best ones ever! Despite the sweltering heat, escalated fire danger, and occasional need for a band-aid or two, the camps ran as smooth as silk. This is due to a dedicated and very gifted staff (see page 2), committed parents, a supportive community, the perfect site, and eager young athletes and artists who brought the gifts of smiles and laughter as they abided by our three cardinal rules: BE KIND, BE SAFE & HAVE FUN!

Because we firmly believe that children need active play and enriching arts experiences to be a part of their lives not for just one week in summer, we are planning a series of classes and activities that will be available from mid-September through mid-December. Coach John Hughes, and several teaching artists will provide plenty of afternoon fun here on the Oak Tree Campus this fall. We hope that you will join us as we strive to provide opportunities for our community’s children. They deserve the very best!
