Things are moving forward at the SJRCL!  Last November, Measure A was passed and thus began our partnership with Nevada County Public  Library. Though the process is slow and we won’t have a steady income stream until January 2018, we are seeing the first glimpses of county support. One day a month, the Tech Van, a fully equipped technology hub including a 3D printer, will be visiting the SJRCL.  Their visit this month is scheduled from 4-6pm on Thursday August 24th. This will be a  regular monthly event and is just the beginning of a collaborative effort  to provide library services to the San Juan Ridge. We are delighted to expose residents to this new technology.

In other news, we are still fundraising and rely heavily on your donations and patronage to keep our doors open. Look for our ongoing booksale at the Ridge Café in downtown NSJ, or catch us selling food at town events or at Picnic in the Park in September.  Consider us when thinking of tax breaks, like  donating your old car or giving a tax deductible donation to our 501c3. We have been creatively operating and will continue to do so.
