It’s Cool at the San Juan Ridge Library!

How much have you missed fresh reading material? How desperately do you want a new DVD to wind down after those hot days outside toiling towards the unforeseeable future? Never Fear! We are here! Finally opening on Tuesdays and Thursdays 12-5 with STRICT guidelines. We are admitting 2 people in at time, must be masked entire time. Hand sanitizer at door prior to entry and 15-20 min limit. I also can help you print from your laptop or phone and our Wi-Fi is on and available during park hours (dawn to dusk /7 days/week). Now you can peek in for a minute and enjoy the AC while perusing our shelves. Since our collection isn’t online (yet!) this is the only way to get books into the hands of the residents of the San Juan Ridge. While most of our programs are on hold, we are holding an informal toddler drop in storytime on Tuesdays around noonish. And of course our outside space at the park is a lovely place to relax!

On another note, we are beginning demolition and construction of the Annex this August. Please contact Roo if you’d like to pitch in. The Annex will be a space for extra internet users, classes, workshops, art receptions, public meetings, etc! It is hard to wrap our heads around meeting face to face indoors, but hopefully by the time we are done, we will be able to gather again.

We miss you all and want you to come and get books for you and your family. Look for the sandwich board on Oak Tree!
