The San Juan Ridge Family Resource Center is happy to host two FREE Wednesday afternoon workshops for children 8 years and older. Mentored by veteran teacher and artist, Jenny Travers, boys and girls will be able to create beautiful handmade gifts for family and friends. Gifts include a lighted centerpiece for the holiday table and ceramic tiles decorated with alcohol ink. Both classes will be at 1-2 pm on Wednesday afternoons. The Grizzly Hill School bus will drop young craftsmen off at the Oak Tree Campus with prior notification at Grizzly Hill. As always, all class participants will need to be pre-registered with an up-to-date emergency card on file. Registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis, and spaces are limited; so please call 292-3174 or drop by the FRC as soon as possible to take advantage of this special opportunity.
