This December I find myself deep into yet another historical fiction novel, gobbling up descriptions of times gone by. Our library is heavyweight with these novels, there is so much to learn! I am also impressed with our up to date periodicals. The children’s room is literally overflowing with books for newborns to books for new readers. Mystery and Western lovers will find (almost) endless pleasures in our special collections. We also have a very comprehensive health and healing section, thanks to donations from such a health conscious community. (We have enough at this time, thanks.) Our DVD collection is rapidly expanding, due to your great donations! All this enclosed in a modest looking building, you would be not expecting such riches!

Lisa Rowe’s Teen Tech Club will be in hiatus until after the holiday season.

The Tapestry Project is ongoing, Tue 1-3, and Thu 10-12. Marsha Stone, Mary Moore, Jennifer Crosby, and all the happy stitchers are creating wonderful works of art and history combined! Everyone is welcome, you don’t need experience.

Remember how your community Library runs on donations and volunteerism as we wrap up 2015. We are a 501c3 which means we can write you a receipt for a tax write-off. Also our car donation program, and the monthly contribution club supports the Library.  This winter solstice let’s spread the love!
