Tip – Asset #33 – Interpersonal Competence
We are all different in how we look and think, what do well or poorly, what we are passionate about, but we all want to be treated kindly and fairly by others. Kids learn how to respect differences in other people by hearing and seeing similar behavior in adults and older youth. Make sure to appreciate the skills and positive values your child has, especially the ones that are different than yours.
