Beauty, Refinement, Culture. What are these concepts? How do we bring them into our lives? What we are able to imagine is what we can move towards creating. How well we feed our imaginations is how well they will grow. You get where I’m going….the library is a place where you can find more good food for the mind than one knows what to do with. Come and enjoy the feast!

Measure A has passed, and thanks to all who voted for it. It will be a bit of time before we know how the funding will be dispersed. We are very excited to welcome our new board members, Beate Moore and Jessica Randolph. It’s great to have their good energies contributing.

We have a desire to offer a seed exchange through the library. Is there anyone who might want to organize this? Please come in and see what we’re thinking about if you’re interested.

If you haven’t been by lately, you will be delighted with the mural which has transformed the outside walls of our portable. Thank You Grace Mack!

The Tapestry project is unfolding biweekly, Tue 1-3 pm, and Thu 10-12. The stitching is continuing to bring to life the amazing illustrations of Jennifer Rain Crosby, the beautiful dream of Marsha Stone’s, and the truly wonderful creativity and talent of Mary Moore, along with the awesome people who come and add their talents to these works. You can be part of this, just show up during these times.

And this just in: On Tuesdays, Carol Meals and Leatha Welker are playing music at the library from 1-3 pm.
