Community Library Update

We have over 12,000 items for check out!

 

How to keep the kids busy in the summer?  It is not too late to enroll in the county summer reading challenge (we have all the materials here, and the prizes include iPads, gift certificates, Fair Ride Tickets and more.)  The challenge ends on July 26th.

 

We have a new staff member, Barbara Jones, who is full of fun ideas.

On Tuesdays from 2-4 pm; Everybody-Board games to challenge your friends and family.

On Thursdays (starting July 11th )

12-2 pm; Grade-schoolers - Make your room into a Planetarium, Ride the new bus while telling stories, or Make slimy Alien food, or…..

2-4 pm; High-schoolers; Henna tattooing, simple auto repairs, basic sewing, …

On Saturdays (starting July 13th)       

12-2 pm Grade-schoolers see Thursday.

These programs will end on August 13th.

Watch for flyers and on social media for family-oriented summer events sponsored by the Library and Oak Tree Park.
