Here Comes Summer

Can it really be June already? Birds are leaving their nests; branches are heavily laden with the promise of summer fruits; and the Yuba is once again a refreshing refuge to weary pilgrims.  Games Days, after-school and preschool visual and performing arts classes, and Young Artists’ Showcases have entered the realm of memory as the Family Resource Center prepares for a busy, fun-filled summer.

June brings the 2nd annual COMMUNITY WORK DAY at the FRC.  A new three day TECH CAMP for young adults, mentored by Lisa Rowe, will immediately follow WORK DAY, taking us into July. July ushers in our much anticipated SPORTS CAMP with its founder, Heidi Herm Ryan. Now in its sixth year, SPORTS CAMP will provide three weeks of summer fun for children 5-15 years old. For details on COMMUNITY WORK DAY, TECH CAMP, and SPORTS CAMPS, as well as how you can support the San Juan Ridge Community Library and the FRC by donating your old vehicles, please check the pages of Ridge Connections.

Have a happy, healthy summer and PLEASE be careful with fire!

Please note:

We will be CLOSED
