Tip—Asset #36—Peaceful Conflict Resolution

One of the most valuable skills you can teach your children is peaceful conflict resolution, that is, settling differences with others without hitting, shouting, or using hurtful language. Difficult for all of us when we’re upset. They will need your guidance to learn how to identify and state their emotions beyond anger (vs accusations). Have practice sessions when they are not upset. Contact the FRC for classes that include steps and practice.
