“The world’s favorite season is the spring. All things seem possible in May.”                                                                                       Edwin Way Teale

Mmmm…..take a breath of that fresh spring air! Wiggle your toes in lush green grass and clover. Heed the buzzing bees as they remind you to savor the sweetness of flowers. Soon the transition from winter to summer will be complete. Time to get those roofs swept and gardens planted. Summer will be here in the blink of an eye. So get ready!

Our Family Resource Center is busily preparing for summer by packing away warm winter coats and sweaters and filling clothes closet shelves with shorts, tees, and sundresses. We are also planning this year’s children’s summer camps. Now in its 7th year, our popular SPORTS CAMP will return to the Oak Tree Campus for three weeks this July, followed by ART CAMP during the first week of August. Formerly hosted by North Columbia Schoolhouse, ART CAMP has moved to the Oak Tree Campus and will continue to provide high quality arts experiences for our community’s children. For more info on SPORTS CAMP, ARTS CAMP, or any of our services please call 292-3174. And be sure to enjoy this beautiful Spring while it lasts.
