A Word About Mothers

We mammals share a special bond with our mothers. Even before our emergence into the world, they provide a warm and watery place in which we can comfortably grow in a lovely climate-controlled environment until our birthday arrives. Most mothers are equipped to provide warmth and sustenance for as long as we need it. They are the first people we know. Without them we wouldn’t exist.

Even at its most rewarding moments, motherhood can be challenging. A mother’s love often manifests as strength and tenacity. Mothering demands fortitude, a lot of it. CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL MOTHERS! Thanks for hanging in there, for being courageous, for demonstrating that there’s more to life than baking cookies. Populating the world is not an easy task. You have risen to the occasion and we salute you!
