Many thanks to all who made our 4th Annual Earth Day Celebration the best one ever!

Extra special thank yous go to Lily Williams for whimsically painting children’s faces, North San Juan Community Center and Ananda Living Wisdom School for providing wonderful children’s games and art activities, Red Hawk for setting up a big beautiful tipi, Neena McNair Family Singers for filling the air with drumming & song throughout the day, Sunshine Bender & Friends who provided delicious food on behalf of Grizzly Hill’s after school program, all vendors, raffle prize and silent auction donors, Briar Patch Co-op, sweet treat bakers, and volunteers. Many thanks also to the San Juan Ridge Taxpayers Assn., particularly Julie des Tombe, Pat Leach, Darlene Markey, and Rhea Williamson who helped produce and promote Cathe’ Fish’s presentation on the value of creating defensible space, and to young singer Charlotte des Tombe who, accompanied by her proud and talented dad, captivated the crowd with her angelic voice.

Last but certainly not least, we are grateful to all those who bought raffle tickets, bid on auction prizes, ate lemon bars, brownies and cheesecake, and chose to share your Saturday with us. We appreciate your smiles, generosity, and good will. Together we raised $2500 for this summer’s children’s camps. It truly was a great day! Thank you for making it so.
