School will be over in the blink of an eye and summer will swiftly be upon us. Soon the FRC will be welcoming young artists and athletes to children’s summer camps here on the beautiful Oak Tree School Campus. Now in its 10th year, SPORTS CAMP provides three weeks of sports and games for boys and girls aged 5- 14. With an emphasis on fitness, as well as fun, Coach Ivy Pera mentors young athletes, while encouraging them to adhere to the FRC’s three cardinal rules: Be Kind. Be Safe. Have Fun!

That simple philosophy guides ART CAMP, as well. Now in its 14th year, ART CAMP introduces 1st-8th graders to a variety of visual and performing arts while immersing them in a world culture. This year’s artists, Ludi Hinrichs (music), Molly Jochem (painting), Ivy Pera (theater), Amy Purrington (dance), and Rachel Umphress (ceramics) will present their art disciplines based in the history and culture of France. As always, ART CAMP will culminate in a performance that never fails to thrill and amaze family, friends, and community and is guaranteed to be tres magnifique!

We hope all families will take advantage of these wonderfully enriching opportunities and enroll their children NOW. July may be months away but these camps fill up early and fast. See you at camp!
