Bring the kids, feel the real spirit of  Christmas by decorating your own holiday gingerbread house, Saturday, November 28, at the North San Juan Center on route 49 from 1-4.   The pre-built gingerbread houses will be waiting for you to decorate with all the trimmings.  Catharine Adaire, chef of the Center's organic Tuesday lunch, and mother of 5, knows first hand the joy of creating a gingerbread house.  She will pre-bake the gingerbread houses, using organic flour and fixings.  All you and yours have to do is freely apply Christmas icings, candies and your own special touch.  Voila! A family heirloom.

Catharine will be serving healthy snacks, homemade goodies, coffee, tea and cocoa.  $15 at the door for each gingerbread house.  There is a limit of 25 and reservations are required.

Call 292.3116 to reserve your house now or for more information.  Scholarships are available.
