Help for the Holidays

Beginning in mid-October and continuing throughout the month of November, the San Juan Ridge Family Resource Center will be assisting families with applications for help with holiday giving. Parents who come to the FRC to register for gifts should bring ideas of what their children would like to receive from Santa Claus. If children need clothing and/or footwear, please come with sizes, as well. We will help parents complete the necessary forms and deliver them to the Salvation Army by the beginning of December. Nevada County Sheriff’s deputies will be on hand to distribute the gifts to parents as the holiday nears in late December. We expect that gifts will be ready for parents to pick up on the morning of December 19th. This wonderful opportunity for families is made possible by the US Marine Corps, Salvation Army & Nevada County Sheriffs, as well as the generosity of our wonderful community.
