As I write this I realize when you read it, we’ll probably know who our new president is. Let’s hope for good things in the coming years and work for those good things to come about. Thanks to Kristin Snell and Diana Pasquini for this newsletter they put together every month. It is an important service to the ridge. Our library certainly appreciates this forum. Speaking of which; we have over 650 patrons at this time! We have wonderful volunteers and welcome more. Our book collection is constantly changing, we have a new infusion of paperback sci-fi and mysteries, and our DVDs are multiplying. Don’t forget we have a three week checkout period, with renewals. We are very friendly and helpful here. How fortunate we are to have our very own library up on the ridge. It is so rich in interesting, and fascinating books, I don’t know how you could resist coming in!
The Tapestry project has finished two more tapestries! They will be on display at the North Columbia Schoolhouse Cultural Center’s upcoming membership party. It’s hard to put into words how stunning they are. In the meantime you can join in on the next two tapestries, they are meeting Tue 1-3, and Thu 10-12. Please come and add your stitches, you need no experience.
