BIO: Ms. RuthAnn Skowronek grew up in New Jersey and then moved to upstate New York where she completed a BA at SUNY Plattsburgh. During and after these college years, she worked on an organic farm in the Champlain Valley. Becoming interested in Rudolf Steiner's work, through friends in farming, she found her way to California and graduated from the American Eurythmy School's four-year full-time training in 2012. She teaches kindergarten through eighth grade eurythmy at the Live Oak Waldorf School in Meadow Vista. She loves working with people of all ages, teaching eurythmy and working on professional artistic projects with friends and colleagues.

CLASS DESCRIPTION: In this class, Ms. Skowronek will take participants on a kindergarten circle adventure into an autumn harvest story. Everyone is invited through the story to move in eurythmy, following along with Ms. Skowronek. One can enter the imaginations and pictures of a story in a fun and health giving way through eurythmy's movement of the sounds of speech or rhythms of music. For this young age group (3-6-year-olds), it is appropriate to do the same story in eurythmy for three weeks in a row, so for the three weeks offered, we will adventure into the same autumn story when we meet.
Following the movement portion, a simple, age appropriate crafts activity will be offered by the Family Resource Center.
