Did you know that there is a Children’s Library housed at the Family Resource Center? Parents may bring their children to the FRC any time during open hours to enjoy books on site, select books to take home, or both. The FRC’s Children’s Library has books for children of all ages. From cloth and cardboard books for very young children, to beginning readers, colorful picture books, and classics for young adults, the FRC’s shelves are filled with wonderful books just waiting to be opened and enjoyed. All reading materials may be taken home by families on an honor system. Families do not need a card, nor do they need to adhere to a limited number of books. The FRC does request that books are returned in good condition before more are taken home. Reading together is a pleasurable pastime for families, especially on blustery winter days and evenings when nothing feels quite as cozy as curling up with a good book.
