A whole year has gone by, school has begun, the light is changing and the library is constantly evolving. We have grown by 250 members since last September! Our collection now has 8,100 items including 600 DVDs. We have received many wonderful donations this year which have kept us in operation, (Thank each of You) and we are still working on finding long- term, dependable funding.

Ridgestock was a blast this year and our Sno Cone booth brought in $250! Thanks everyone for supporting us! Coming up on Sept 20h we will be at Picnic in the Park with Sno Cones again, and a great book sale and Magic Show with Nick Federoff going on at the Library. Come on out and have some fun with us there!

Lisa Rowe will be starting up Tech Club Thursdays this month with the first session on Thursday, September 10th. It will be for kids, ages 10-18. This club will run Thursdays from 5-6 pm. It will be a place to bring in all your tech questions, a place to learn new skills, set up your devices, learn to make a website, download music, etc. Best of all, it is FREE!

Thanks to all our volunteers for rocking the Library! You all bring us the love we need to keep things running. If any of you readers are interested in helping out, come on by and let us know. Also, we are replacing our not-so-popular DVDs with “fresh” ones and so are accepting donations of new titles and old classics too!

The Tapestry Project is underway Tue 1-3pm and Thu 10-12pm. It is open to all who want to come and stitch. Please come and join in this amazing ongoing project that will take your breath away with it’s beauty! See you at the Library!
