For many, a cherished dream will soon come true! This August, Little Acorns Preschool will open its doors on the the Oak Tree Campus. Twin Ridges Elementary School District is now busily preparing the site so that children aged   2 ½ - 5 will soon be able to learn and play in a kind and caring, safe and stimulating environment. Little Acorns’ teacher, Pam Langley, has recently emigrated to the San Juan Ridge from her home in Eliot, Maine. Dedicating several decades of her life to meeting the needs of young children and their families, Pam will be presenting a preschool program that employs skills and values honed for over a generation. She explained, “Meeting the needs of children and their families is something I’m passionate about. I like teaching about compassion and empathy. I strongly believe that children learn through play while caring adults help to facilitate positive learning experiences. Children should be able to let their curiosity direct their play while adults ensure they are in a safe, nurturing environment. ”

She described Little Acorns Preschool as, “a place where families and children feel comfortable, safe and nurtured. We believe that all children are natural learners provided they are in a safe environment and are exposed to caring, nurturing adults where the child’s best interest is their goal.”

In addition to providing an excellent learning experience, Little Acorns will be serving a high quality, freshly prepared lunch and snack daily. Preschool meals, as well as enrollment, will be FREE to all. Starting at the beginning of a new school year in mid-August, 2021, Little Acorns is accepting registrations now. To get further information or to begin the enrollment process, call Pam Langley at 265.9052.
