The FRC happy to announce that one of its most popular activities is returning. First supported by a Nevada County community block grant back in 2010, SPORTS CAMP has remained one of the most popular and beloved programs presented by the San Juan Ridge Family Resource Center. Every July, young athletes between the ages of 5 and 15 gather to play sports and games on the beautiful Oak Tree Campus. While here, campers have the opportunity to learn new skills and hone old ones, as well as make new friendships and rekindle old ones. SPORTS CAMP is governed by three cardinal rules: BE KIND. BE SAFE. HAVE FUN!

Session #1 for Junior Sports Campers (ages 5-7) will be 9:30-12:30 July 5-9. Session #2 for Intermediate Sports Campers (ages 8-10) will be 9:30-2:30 July 12-16. Session #3 for Senior Sports Campers (ages 11+) will be July 19-23. All Sports Campers will be expected to bring their own food. The FRC will provide plenty cool drinking water, and lots of hydration breaks.

The cost of one week of Junior SPORTS CAMP is $50. Intermediate and Senior SPORTS CAMPS are $75 per camper. No one will be turned away due to an inability to pay; and a campership will be made available to anyone who requires one. If you are interested in enrolling your young athlete, or require more information, please call the San Juan Ridge Family Resource Center at 292.3174.
