“An Attitude of Gratitude brings opportunity”

We are so blessed to have such a wonderful place to live and gather. It has been a tumultuous past season and we’ve had some excellent events with record attendance! Kite day was a wild success, the Tapestry folks have returned, and our first movie night happened even with a cloudy, sprinkly night. There is so much in store for the summer, it’s hard to list it all, so go to www.sjrcommunitylibrary.org or Facebook to see our entire calendar! Short list: Movie nights 1st &3rd Saturdays, Pass the Mic 1st and 3rd Sundays, Kickball 1st & 3rd Mondays, Poetry 1ST Thursday of every month...and much more! We are excited to have activities to get you and your family out and enjoying the fresh air and great literature! Our Birthday Party on June 6th should be a sweet outing for the whole family. Make sure you make it by 2pm so we can toast Mary Moore as she transitions from full time staff to volunteer boss. We will miss the predictability but we are glad she will still be a critical part of SJRCL. CHEERS, Mary!

Saturday, June 5th 10am-6pm- NSJ Cherry Festival-SJRCL will have books available for donation, applications, plus a sweet activity for children.

8:30pm MOVIE NIGHT ON THE FIELD “Where the Wild things Are” Wear them out at Cherry Fest and then come relax on the field!
