It’s been a long, hard year, unlike any in recent memory. The pandemic has touched the lives of everyone, especially students. Grizzly Hill’s students are no exception. This year’s graduating class was unable to return to genuine classroom instruction until March of this year. One hundred percent of their classes were online. Not only did this group of students not receive the benefits of a face-to-face education. They were unable to socialize with one another. “The highest point of the year was coming back to a full classroom,” explained their teacher, Tiffany Caughey.” They were all so excited to see each other!” When asked to describe this little class of graduates, she proclaimed, “They’re all fabulous!” She continued, “ Each one has a great heart and the ability to learn. My wish for each one of them is to go out into the world and be the best possible version of themselves.”

We agree wholeheartedly with Ms Caughey’s assessment. Her class is fabulous! They are a resilient group of young people who will be going on to continue their education in Nevada City (Sierra Academy of Expeditionary Learning) and Grass Valley (Nevada Union High School) next year. A hearty CONGRATULATIONS to:

(One more fabulous student is included in this illustrious group, but will remain anonymous for now.)
