Now in its 9th year, FRC’s SPORTS CAMP gives kids the opportunity to have fun while running, jumping, kicking, and throwing on the beautiful Oak Tree School Campus. Year after year kids return to rekindle old friendships and forge new ones as they laugh and play on the field, in the Lodge, or in the games room. We are grateful to Coach Ivy Pera, Counselor Jack Greenwood, camp supporters and donors, parents, and especially the relentlessly cheerful Sports Campers who warmed our hearts and brightened our days.

“I like to play Capture the Flag, Dodge Ball, Sharks & Minnows & Gaga Ball. I taught the whole camp how to play Gaga Ball. Everybody liked it. Jack is fun and really good at playing lots of games. Ivy is a really good coach. She always lets us play new games and teaches us new stuff.”

Sullivan Umphress

Kindergarten-Yuba River Charter School

“I like Gaga Ball best. There’s all these cones. If you hit the ball out of the cones with your hand you’re out. I won three out of four rounds just by staying near the cones. I like Capture the Flag too. You have to try to capture the other team’s flag. I was on the yellow team and the green team. It’s fun to play whether you win or lose!”

They’re able to be outside and play a lot of games they like. All the kids are really nice and Ivy is a really good coach. The kids have a lot of fun and everybody gets along. I even get to play sometimes. It’s really fun.”
