“My favorite holiday is Christmas. The Christmas tree is really pretty and we all get presents. I want a dollhouse and a pretty dress. I’m going to draw something special for Papa and Gijo and they’re going to take me to see the Nutcracker. I want to give our dog, Moxie, a dog treat and I want to clean up all the oceans.” Naomi Adams

“Our family celebrates Christmas. We usually go to our grandparents’ house in Illinois. We have a tree and put presents under it. My favorite part of Christmas is a party we have after we open our presents. We have lots of food and my grandma makes cookies. My wish is happiness for the whole world.” Henry Krautkramer

“My family celebrates Christmas and Hanukkah. We usually get a big Christmas tree and decorate it. On the top we put an angel. For Hanukkah, me and my sister light the menorah with my grandma. My grandma tells us stories. Then we play tickle monster; and my grandma catches us and tickles us. I would like to have even more friends and have more time for hanging out with my friends and family. I would like to give more trees to the Earth because the trees produce oxygen for us and make the air we breathe.” Sophia Goodman

“My family celebrates Christmas. We have a big dinner and a really pretty tree with lots of ornaments. We have twelve or thirteen people and everybody gets a present. I want to spread kindness around the world and I hope that everyone has a very Merry Christmas!”

“My dad’s family celebrates Solstice. For Solstice we have a fancy dinner. My mom’s side of the family celebrates Hanukkah and Christmas. At my mom’s we go to my uncle’s house. My grandma and grandpa, my mom, and all our cousins get together for a big dinner and everyone gets presents. The kids get the most presents. I would like to give everyone a home and make the world a better place.”Ryah Souverville
